Chicago Community Ventures has been a staple to the Chicagoland business community since 2000. We have been an organization that has been behind our clients to support the growth of communities. If we had it our way, we would remain behind our clients, in the shadows, being the addition to their team when they need us; however, the current economic climate has forced us to step into the spotlight. Chicago Community Ventures is in dire need of unrestricted funding. What's that mean? Currently, most of our funding is tied to very specific programs, and can only be used to support those programs. Unrestricted funds will go to pay for things like marketing and advertising, staff and general overhead, like our Com Ed bill.
Starting October 1, we will be embarking on our 3 in 3 campaign. In order to continue to "Build Businesses that Build Communities", we will be on a mission to raise $300,000 in 3 weeks. We need YOUR help. CCV provides support to women and minority owned business. We have empowered businesses in communities including Garfield Park, Humbolt Park, Kenwood, Douglas, Lakeview, Chatham, South Holland, Calumet City, Berwyn and more.
