Regents Cup, the Kenwood neighborhood coffee house that’s owned and operated by the same people as Bronzeville Coffee and Tea, just opened!
The co-owners, Richard Chalmers and Trez Pugh, are both graduates of CCV’s Market and Customer Development Training class. The pair, who opened their Bronzeville store in December 2005, has known each other since kindergarten.
Trez disclosed how Bronzeville Coffee and Tea has been a real success to InChiCity.com: “Keep everything nice, and don’t compromise your dream for anyone. We thank people all the time and truly involve people from the community.”
The coffee shop features Fair Trade beans from around the world. Fair Trade certified ensures that farmers can feed their families and afford for their children to attend school.
As a part of their “Recession Buster” deals, Regents Cup is offering:
- 20 percent discount to students who print out a coupon on studentrate.com
- $1 regular coffee or tea for customers who bring in their own 16 or 20 ounce thermos cup
- 15 percent discount to senior citizens on all purchases everyday
